Plane of the Month Series

The Air Zoo will be featuring the following planes in 2008 for our Plane of the Month series. Each session will feature a guest speaker, followed by a question and answer period and a flight demonstration (weather permitting).

May 17: N2S-5 Boeing Kaydet

Join pilot Alan Wright as he discusses the U.S. Navy primary trainer.

June 14: BT-13

Join pilot Duane Packer as he discusses the most widely-used American training aircraft of World War II.

July 12: T-6

Join pilot Randy Hunt in a discussion on the T-6, a single-engine advanced trainer aircraft designed by North American Aviation, used to train fighter pilots of the United States Army Air Forces, United States Navy, Royal Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II.

August 9: T-28

Pilot Fred Bowers leads a discussion on the T-28, a piston-engined military trainer aircraft used by the United States armed forces in the 1950s and into the early 1980s.
