Become an Air Zoo Advocate!
The Air Zoo Advocate Program is a professional development and partnership program for educators. We are looking for top-flight teachers who will serve as liaisons between the Air Zoo and their school. Advocate participants will be selected from those who teach in a variety of content areas and grade levels throughout Michigan.
Advocates will:
- Be trained on all of the Air Zoo’s resources, collections, education programs and how to lead a focused field trip.
- Serve in an advisory role to assist with the development of new educational programs and events.
- Receive discounts on teacher in-services, first chance at special opportunities for their students and regular newsletters.
- Have the exclusive opportunity to attend NASA’s “Mobile Moon Rocks” training – bring a real moon rock sample to your school!
